LC4 Meeting 3/20 Recap

On Thursday, March 20th the LC4 committee met to review and vote on advancing the next phase of the MARC construction to include the Basketball Courts and Lights for the Pickleball, Skatepark, and Basketball playing areas.

The committee supported Town staff to pursue funding sources including; LWCF, private fundraising, Recreation Impact fees, Congressional Directed Spending (CDS), and other grants that may become available.

The committee discussed and approved an updated site design that switched the locations of the Tennis and Basketball courts. The swap in locations will help advance the basketball court phase at a reduced cost. CLICK HERE for the updated site design.

In addition, the committee voted to advance the design for the synthetic turf field.

The next LC4 meeting is tentatively scheduled to be held on June 26 at 4pm in Town Council Chambers.
